A one day Motivational Talk on Voluntary Blood Donation was organized on 27/07/2013 at the Thoubal College, Thoubal as a run up to a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp to be organized on 01/08/2013 as a part of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations starting 01/08/2013 [& also as a part of the No-replacement Month being observed in Govt. Hospitals in Manipur under the aegis of MACS & SBTC-Manipur].
The Motivational talk on Voluntary Blood donation was organized jointly by Thoubal College and its Students union, NCC & NSS units with technical support from the Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, Manipur wherein some 167 (one hundred & sixty seven) teachers & students of Thoubal College attended.
Dr. AK Brogen, President, AVBD-Manipur, Dr. L. Tomcha Khuman, Founder President, AVBD-Manipur, Kh. Samarjit, Secretary, AVBD-Manipur & Nabakumar, Secretary, Thoubal District Branch of AVBD-Manipur spoke on various subjects pertaining to Voluntary Blood Donation.
