CM REVIEWS THE DEVELOPMENTAL WORKS UNDER 100 DAYS PROGRAMME

Imphal, June 6, 2017 (DIPR): To ensure timely completion of various developmental projects taken up by different government departments under the 100 days action plan programme, a review meeting was today held at CM Secretariat. The review meeting was chaired by Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh.

The meeting discussed the status and progress of the various developmental projects being undertaken by different departments under the 100 days programme of the new government. Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh instructed that already indentified developmental works should be completed on time. Shri N. Biren Singh asked all the Administrative Secretaries and Head of Departments to submit the progress and development of works on a daily basis to CM’s office.

Action plan taken up under the 100 days programme include among others providing free wi-fi in public areas, connecting District Headquarters under SWAN to enable video conferencing facilities, Jeewan Praman for Pensioners, launching of Manipur Journalist Board, medical insurance schemes for Journalists of the State etc.

Later, a review meeting on action plan taken up under the “State Mission on Employment, Drinking Water and Housing for All by 2022” was also held.

Cabinet Ministers – Shri Y. Joykumar Singh, Shri Th. Biswajit, Shri L. Jayantakumar Singh, Shri Th. Radheshyam, Smt. Nemcha Kipgen, Shri Th. Shyamkumar, Shri N. Kayasii, Addl. Chief Secretary Shri Shambhu Singh, Addl. Chief Secretary Shri Suresh Babu, Addl. Chief Secretary Dr. Suhel Aktar, Secretaries, Commissioners and Head of Departments of various departments attended the review meeting.(DIPR)
