TH. RADHESHYAM INSGS PECTED THE ONGOING CONSTRUCTION BUILDINOF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTES

Imphal, 15th May, 2017 (“DIPR): Education, Labour and Employment Minister Shri. Th. Radheshyam today inspected the ongoing construction works of the Girls hostel of Chaoyaima Hr. Secondary School, Thoubal, Block, Block Institute of Teacher Education (BITE), Ningshing Khul, District Institute of Education & Training, Keikol Koirengei and HASK Skill Development Centre Pvt. Ltd. Lilong.
While inspecting the building constructions, Shri Th. Radheshyam said those buildings are being developed for better implementation and to fulfil certain requirements and criteria of education system in the state. He also warned the people involved in the construction should maintain the standard quality. During the visit he also inspected various government schools located within Heirok Assembly Constituency.
He also expressed his dissatisfaction over the dilapidated condition of the Community Health Centre, Heirok.
Further, the Minister inspected the water supply of Heirok Part 1,2 & 3, rivers, dams and canals. Discussing with the local people to improve the poor irrigation facilities in the area, he said that a proper plan is needed to develop a better irrigation, water harvesting and flood control system in the constituency.
In regard to the utilization of the Fund of Local Area Development or any developmental projects, he assured that he would give priority to the people or area that need the most.
The Minister was accompanied by officials of Education Engineering Wing, PHED, and Minor Irrigation Department. (DIPR)
