Imphal, June 6, 2017 (DIPR): A One-Day District Oreientation Workshop on Intensified Diarrhoea Control Fortnight (IDCF) was held today at Bishnupur District. The workshop was held at NHM Conference Hall at CMO office, Bishnupur.
CMO of the District, Smt H Babychand along with many other District Level Officers of different Departments and Medical Officers of various health centres of the District took part in the Workshop.
Dr. Shyamkumar Pukhrambam, District Family Welfare Officer gave a presentation on the topic “Diarrhoea” as resource person. The other resource person was Dr. Ksh Umananda, District Nodal Officer (RBSK/RKSK)who gave his presentation on the topic “Handwashing – A Critical Infection Issue”
It can be mentioned that IDCF observation will be held nation-wide from 12-24 June, 2017. The launching of this observation of Bishnupur Districtwill be held on 12th June at CSC, Moirang.(DIPR)
