MINISTER HANDED OVER 41 BAGS OF RICE TO DIFFERENTLY-ABLED INSTITUTIONS

IMPHAL, 6TH July 2017, (DIPR): As earlier assured by Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister Smt. Nemcha Kipgen during the spot inspection, 41 bags of rice was today handed over by the Deputy Director (Disability), Social Welfare Manipur Shri Dileep Singh, on behalf of the Minister, to the schools’ authorities of the Government Ideal Blind School, Government Deaf & Mute School, Observation & Special Home for Juvenile in conflict with law and Children Home at Takyelpat, Imphal, BB Paul School, Monsangei and Mission Blind School, Heikakpokpi, Pallel Chandel.

The officials and the team distributed 5 bags of rice each at Government Ideal Blind School, Government Deaf & Mute School, Observation & Special Home and Children Home,10 bags each at BB Paul School, Monsangei and Mission Blind School, Chandel.

Mission Blind School Headmaster, Shri Pareng extended heartfelt gratitude for transforming promises into action at the short period of time by the Minister for the differently-abled students. He also thanked the Deputy Director (Disability) and the officials who arrived at the schools on Minister’s behalf. (DIPR)
