Meitei Nationalist Party strongly condemns and rejects the anti-national slogans like ‘Kashmir ki Azadi’, ‘Manipur ki Azadi’ and ‘Nagaland ki Azadi’. MNP (Meitei Nationalist Party) warns against those separatist minded elements whether they are teaching in universities like Jawaharlal Nehru University or Jadavpur University or not.

MNP’s Founding President B. Angousana Sharma asserts, “Kashmir was Taxila and Taxila was the head of India and heart of the world. Therefore, Kashmir was and is an integral part of India. Manipur was the Easternmost Sentinel of Bharatvarsha and hence is the Eastern Gateway of India to both East Asia and South East Asia. No power on the earth can destroy India and separate Manipur or Kashmir from India. MNP and its national students’ wing MNSUI (Meitei Nationalist Students’ Union of India) warn against such sloganeering and those university teachers and elements who use Manipur for their anti-India agenda.”

Angousana Sharma points out, “Manipur has produced 4 Generals (2 Lt. Generals and 2 Maj. Generals) in Indian Army. Manipur stands highest in sending its people to Indian Armed Forces, in terms of the ratio of armed forces officers and jawans to the total population of the state. Manipuris have lifted up the Flag of India high in Olympics and Asian Games. Manipuri culture is the living testimony of India’s culture all over the world. Manipuri classical dance is such Indian classical dance which is world famous. Manipuris have been defending Bharatvarsha from the attacks of China, Burma and Japan since time immemorial. So, how can Manipur be separated from India in 21st century?”

Angousana Sharma remarks, “Do not shed crocodile tears in the name of Manipur and stop using academic spaces and students to separate Manipur from India by destroying India. Some professors in central universities like Jawaharlal Nehru University and others should stop playing the politics of victim cards in the name of Manipur. They should stop preaching about Manipur in the light of anti-India and instead they must go and serve Manipuris by being in villages of Manipur instead of sitting in air-conditioned quarters and newsroom discussing about Manipur as victim. They should rather focus on their research and teaching and in publishing new books and papers in world famed academic journals. They should also allow other academics and students to peacefully teach, study and research in universities. How many central university professors who shed crocodile tears for Manipur have so far published any book or paper of international impact in the last 10 years? But, still they get salary without fail for playing the victim card in the name of Manipur. Their salary and funding of central universities are from our public tax payers’ money. Stop spreading the venom of anti-India by using Manipur for your personal interests and benefits.”

MNP takes seriously of those teachers who mastermind and play with the sentiments and emotions of the students of Manipur in some central universities like Jawaharlal Nehru University for their anti-India and anti-national hidden agenda. In the name of Manipur, no one has a right to call for ‘Separation of Manipur from Bharat Mata’. MNP and its national students’ wing MNSUI will fight aggressively against those teachers and elements, who use the academic spaces, to separate Manipur from India by destroying our motherland Bharat.

MNP and MNSUI will always work to unite India and strengthen ‘Unity in diversities’ in Bharatvarsha. Manipur was, is and will always be an integral part of India. It is not only the Jewel of India but also the Eastern Gateway of India to East and South East Asia.
