Imphal East scored an excellent result with 30 first divisions’ out of 31 appeared students in the recently declared HSLC exam 2013. 26 students scored letter marks with two students scoring letter mark in four subjects. Julia Keisham who scored 84.4% marks top the first divisions’ lists of Wangkhei Model School. Among 31, one student got complimentary. Manipur Times met the Principal of the school along with the dedicated teachers who have taught the students well and did extra coaching classes free of cost during December 1 to January 30. The matric exam appearing students were given rigorous day boarding classes from 6 am to 3.30 pm for two months before the board exams expressed the teachers. Mentioned may be made that the school has yield a good result in their first appearance and they are aiming for more excellent results in the coming years.
