Ten non-manipuri who were found selling betel leaf without proper permission from the Municipality were picked up by IMC official and detained at the office premises of IMC.
The drive is implemented for the first time and it will be continue say the official. Many more un-authorise vendors were also picked up in good number today. They were fined Rs.300/- each for their act through T/R (challan)
The drive is to bring cleanliness in the market area and to do away the congestion that hampers the proper functioning of the market area in Imphal.
