Wildlife and Habitat Protection Society observed fifth World Bamboo Day at Punshilok Langol today. Plantation and workshop on Bamboo plantation were conducted as a part of the function. Mention may also be made that WAHPS has been planting varieties of Bamboo at Punshilok. The bamboos are maintained properly by the volunteers of WAHPS. A lunch with bamboo shoots’ cuisines was served.
