Fifty six (56) individuals mainly students of Modern College (Ex-Students & present students) donated blood on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebration of the College.
Out of the total number of donors 10 were Girl students & 3 were Teachers of the College.
The Voluntary Blood Donation was organized jointly by Association of Voluntary Blood Donors, Manipur, Students’ Union, NCC & NSS Units of Modern College, Blood Bank & Transfusion Unit, JNIMS,Porompat, Imphal.
The camp was organized as a part of the ongoing observance of the No-Replacement Month. Ahead of the camp a Motivational Talk on Voluntary Blood Donation was organized on 02/08/2013 with the support from District Aids Prevention & Control Unit, Imphal East at the Multipurpose Hall of Modern College initiated by AVBP.
