Under the leadership of Mairembam Prithiviraj , present parliamentary secretary for Tourism and youth Affairs and sports and present MLA of Moirang constituency , an initiative have been taken at the Historic Thoibi Awun keithel under agesis of ‘Blooming Moirang ‘.
Under the initiative , beautiful hanging baskets with blooming flowers and 23 pine trees have been planted in the immediate vicinity of the market .
Blooming moirand seeks to beautify the important community area and one of the most important landmark of Manipur with active participation of the local community , the hardworking womenfolks who ply their trade in the area , the local municipality and transform into one of the biggest pride and attraction of Moirang.
