A mild bomb having potential to kill few people at the blast site erupted around 12.30 pm today at Moirangkhom Sougaijam Leikai injuring a 75 year old man in his leg. The blast is suspected to target on non-Manipuri as it happen exactly at an ironing shop run by a non-Manipuri Bijay Rajat from Bhojpur District, Bihar. The injured person is identified as Bachaspatimayum Govind from Nagamapal Laimayum Leirak. Govind was on the other side of the road and he came to attend an Utsav along with his daughter. He was loitering around the road when the blast happen. A car was damaged in the blast with its wind shield broken and a glass door of a jeweler center across the road got shattered. While the blast took place Bijay Rajat was sleeping on his bed and he woke up to a loud sound.
The victim family cried out as to when peace will prevail in the State.
