A free comprehensive eye camp was conducted at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Sekta on 14th
March 2016.
Shija Eye Care Foundation in collaboration with The Kanglei Women’s Society, Keishampat
Thiyam Leikai, Social Sporting Club and Meira Paibo of Sekta organized the camp at PHC,
Sekta.
171 nos. of patients were examined for eye related problems. 17 cataracts, 22 pterygiums and
2 chalazion were diagnosed during the camp.
Dr. Sarda Ch., Consultant Ophthalmologist along with other supporting staff of Shija Eye Care
Foundation examined the patient.
4 cataract and 2 pterygium patients were transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for
the corrective surgery on the same day.
