November 8, 2015. Ningol Chakouba cum get together 2015 of Korea Manipuri Association is being held on November 8, 2015 at a pension house at Nongin, located far from the main city area.
Ningols of KMA was served with several delicious food menus, specially cooked by pibas, After the lunch, gift items are presented to the Ningols by the younger pibas by bowing and same time getting blessings from the Ningols.
The gathering started November 7 evening at a two story pension house located at outskirt of Nongin city. After serving with a wonderful dinner, a long discussion was held on how to strengthen the KMA as an organization and also its role in engaging with social activities back home.
In 2015, KMA and its members have contributed over 1 lac INR toward the various activities in Manipur. One of the major contribution was on Manipur flood relief efforts, for which KMA has donated about 90 thousands INR.
In 2016, KMA look forward to celebrate such gathering and Ningol Chakouba festivals. KMA also look forward to engage with more social activities by closely working with few social organizations of Manipur.
