8th September 2017: With a surprise event to bring fashion and traditional weaving into the next level.Ningthem charei,a runway fashion catwalk will be held on 9th September 2017,at Hotel Imphal with top models of the country & Manipuri models walking down the runway wearing our designed traditional outfit supporting the weavers of the State & encouraging youths to promote handloom & textile of the State and also to promote fashion trends.The opening show of the event will be by designer Robert naorem who is organising the event.And a show by Young talented designer Caroline Laishram & a grand finale by Ashok Maanay, Bangalore will also be showcased.The show will be directed by a well know fashion choreographer Sheetal Sharma .Celebrities like Bruna Abdullah,former Miss India Universe Noyonothi Lodh & actor Abrar from Mumbai will walk for the show to support the cause of weavers & handloom of Manipur .
