Rashtrapati Bhavan replies to Bupenda Meitei on Manipur’s 3 bills

The Press Secretary to the President of India has replied to the query of Ningombam Bupenda Meitei on the status of Manipur’s 3 bills to protect the indigenous people of Manipur. To the email dated June 7, 2016 regarding query “Has the Rashtrapati rejected Manipur’s 3 bills as being published in a Manipuri newspaper”sent by Ningombam Bupenda Meitei, Venu Rajamony, the Press Secretary to the President, stated that, “It is stated that recently only one Bill i.e. The Protection of Manipur Peoples Bill, 2015 passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly was received in the Rashtrapati Bhavan from Ministry of Home Affairs. On the recommendations of Home Minister, the President has withheld the assent to the Bill on 11.05.2016. No other bill of Manipur Legislative Assembly has been received.”

E-mail reply to Ningombam Bupenda Meitei from the Press Secretary to the President of India.

Dear Mr. Meitei,

Reference to your email dated June 7, 2016 regarding query “Has the Rashtrapati rejected Manipur’s 3 bills as being published in a Manipuri newspaper”.

It is stated that recently only one Bill i.e. The Protection of Manipur Peoples Bill, 2015 passed by the Manipur Legislative Assembly was received in the Rashtrapati Bhavan from Ministry of Home Affairs. On the recommendations of Home Minister, the President has withheld the assent to the Bill on 11.05,2016. No other bill of Manipur Legislative Assembly has been received.

  2. Before electing we should approach Election commission not to file nomination by a retired person and illiterate. Should fixed like Graduate with no involvement in politics or students association during school or college tenure and should not be more than 55 years of age…

What the hell is going on?If this is true and I guess the central govt has deceived us like all mayang does then it might also be true that they never gave appointment to our CM.If the CM of Arunachal Pradesh seek the center’s appointment they would grant it immediately. From this exposure we valley must realized that there are lots and lots of forces who doesn’t want the 3 bills to be an ACT.
