A sit in protest is undergoing from 10.30
a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at Kakching Naohallai Lampak, Kakching Bazar to arrest of Major Sreeramkumar of 39 Assam Riffles who reportedly conspired in the murder of Y. Krishnadas Singh of Kakching Sumak Leikai in 2009.
Y. Krishnadas Singh was kidnapped June 9 and found dead on June 12, 2009 even after the delivering of Rs 25 lakhs as ransom by the family. The protest was organized by the Yengkhom Krishnadas Singh Ningshing Lup, Kakching .
