A day long health check up for staffs of Imphal Municipality Council and NGO’s involved in keeping the city clean was held at Remedy Hospital and Research Centre Purieromba Khongnangkhong Palace Compound. Around hundred Sweepers, cleaners and other staffs were medically check up and free medicines were provided till 2 pm. The medical camp is still going on. The initiative jointly organised by Remedy Hospital, IMC and MAHUD is the first of its kind says a sweeper who have been sweeping the roads as a staff of IMC since a year. The camp is being organised for the welfare of people involved in trying to keep the Imphal City clean says the director of MAHUD.
