Imphal gearing up to be an International War Memorial Centre.

Closing ceremony of the three months long 70th Anniversary Commemoration of Battle of Imphal (WWII) at MFDC on 28th June 2014. Dignitaries from Japan, England, USA and Australia are seen in the picture along with State authorities. Cultural programs, presentation of a follow up video coverage by Impact TV during the three month  commemoration, screening of a documentary by Japanese Actor Director, cultural program on folk song, speeches and announcement on important issues of preserving war memorials and regional developments by visiting delegates from respective countries. A read out of the war history on Battle of Imphal 1944 were some of the programs during the closing ceremony attended by invitees and guest from across the State and followed by local, national and international media representatives.
