Our organization’s eleventh years’ journey has been grow from nestling to one that is recognized in the state for its work in disability area. The Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) is always ready to be braced with the unexpected and to solve what seem impossible like children with disabilities reeling under the yoke of discrimination with respect to health, education and social life within their own family and community. These are the everyday challenges our organization has taken-up with the sense of pride and satisfaction despite the shortage of resource in providing a high quality of care under one roof in Churachandpur, Manipur. Centre for Community Initiative (CCI) is a non-governmental, non-political and non-profit organisation started in 2002 by like-minded individuals dealing with various issues to provide a better society through community initiative and participation towards the welfare of children with special needs. CCI was restricted in 2007 to work towards creating an accepting society for Persons with Disabilities.
CCI involves in mapping positive and supportive environment for Persons with Disabilities; encourages inclusive education and advocates for their rights and dignity. It shares, listens, commits and works towards building a responsive society in which differently and potentially abled people grow in self-esteemed enjoy full participation in the community by facilitating and empowering parents, siblings and Persons with Disabilities through practical support, assessment and counselling.

About the Founder & CEO
Ranjit is the Founder & CEO of ezKarma, a Quantum Leap Tech Labs Pvt. Ltd. company. Ranjit is a graduate of Bowdoin College (Maine) and the London School of Economics. At Bowdoin, he was the only double recipient of General R.H.Dunlap Prize, the College’s award for public service to the college and the community and the Goodwin Commencement Prize, the most exalted honor given to the member of the graduating class. He obtained his MBA from Wharton where he was also the Editor-in-Chief of The Wharton Journal. Prior to Wharton Ranjit was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs in New York and in London, and following his MBA, with Credit Suisse in London where he was only one of two chosen by the CEO for the “Future Leaders of the Firm” program. Ranjit has a keen interest in writing and has in the past written op-eds for newspapers and magazines including The Wall Street Journal, The Tribune, Himal Magazine, etc.
