Ranjan Waribam to Coach Indian Compound Archery Team in World Cup Archery Stage 2

Ranjan waribam (coach) along with two players miss Lily Chanu and Chinglensana have been selected to represent India in the compound category in the forthcoming world cup archery stage 2 to be held at Antalya (Turkey) from 23rd May to 1st June 2015.

Ranjan Waribam who is a junior commissioned officer in Indian army is presently posted at Army Sports Institute, Pune.

Ranjan has successfully led Indian team in the many international tournaments. He was the coach of Indian team which had won team gold and individual in Asian grand prix archery which was held at Bangkok (Thailand) in 2013. He also led the Indian team in Asian grand prix 2014 which was held at Bangkok and Indian won team silver and individual silver medal. He also represented as a coach in world cup stage 1 held at Shanghai (China) in 2014, world cup stage 4 for the consecutive two years 2013 and 2014 at Wroclaw (Poland). He was also the coach in world archery championship 2013 which was held at Belek (Turkey)

Team led by him created the history by winning team gold medal and Individual silver medal in 19th Asian games which was held at Incheon (South Korea).
