Keisham Indu Devi (Jewelry) and Arunapyari Salam (block printing) are facilitated as State awardees for handicraft at 5th DESIGNERS’ MEET held at Youth Hostel, Sport Complex, Khuman Lampak, Imphal. The tribal Jewelry made by Keisham Indu Devi at Keisampat has the demands from the neighboring states of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. Arunapyari Salam from Masjid Gali, Paona Bazar, proprietor of Aruna Academy of Creative Arts, has got the award for printing khamen chatpa. She was also for responsible for the fashion design on the last day of the recently held Manipur Sangai Festival 2013.
