Imphal, February,13: Long queues of panic buyers of petroleum products are witnessed at most of the oil pumps across the state, even though the proposed indefinite economic blockade of the All tribal student’s union Manipur, ATSUM is yet to be officially confirmed.
In fact, the proposed economic of blockade of the tribal students’ body is all set to kickstart from February 16. As soon as the news of the blockade reached the people, most oils began witnessing large numbers of vehicle owners lining up since last afternoon. Imphal witnessed more long queues of panic buyers of petrolon Thursday. Almost oil pumps at Imphal are found closed claiming that their stocks have been depleted. On the other hand, black marketers of petrol are appearing on roadsides.
