The above topics were discussed during the two day Demonstration workshop on Building with Bamboo held at Forest Department Conference hall beginning today. The workshop was undertaken with the initiative of South Asia Bamboo Foundation and Manipur State Bamboo Mission, GoM. The workshop is being sponsored by BMPTC and NBM Manipur and supported by Department of Arts and Culture GoM.
Institutional framework and policy for Manipur were discussed during the technical session.Kamesh Salam founder and executive director SABF. P.C Lawmkunga additional chef secretary GoM, H. Brajamani Sharma, Mission director Manipur State Bamboo Mission forest department were some of the dignitaries present today.
