17th October 2017 : A comprehensive eye camp was conducted at The Maibam Social Welfare Club, Mayang Imphal on 17 th October,2017.
Shija Eye Care Foundation in collaboration with NPCB (NHM), Kanglei Women’s Society &Maibam Social Welfare Club,Maibam Mamang Leikai, Mayang Imphal organized the camp.
142 nos. of patients were examined for eye related problems. 20 cataracts, 7 pterygiums, 2 Retina related problems and 1 Ptosis were diagnosed during the camp.
Dr. Sarda Ch., Consultant Ophthalmologist along with other supporting staff of Shija Eye Care Foundation examined the patient.
Detected patients will be transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol for the corrective surgery on 27 th October, 2017.
