Kshetri Sanglen, Thoubal Achouba: Shija Breast & Thyroid Clinic and Shija Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department organized a Free Mega Breast & Thyroid and Cervical Detection camp at Shija Clinic Thoubal on 21st January 2016. The team was led by Dr. NINGTHOUKHONGJAM SUBODHA, Consultant Obstetrics and Laparoscopic Gynaecologist, Shija Hospitals and Dr. AJIT LUKRAM, Consultant General and Laparoscopic Surgeon, Shija Hospitals who had done fellowship in Breast & Endocrine Surgery at North Cumbria University, United Kingdom. Free detailed examinations were conducted for 38 patients and Risk-scoring for illness related Breast, Thyroid and Cervical Cancer were carried out for the detected patients. Breast, Thyroid and Cervical Cancer Information booklets were also distributed to the patients during the camp. The camp was organized as a part of Shija Outreach Camp.
