September 15, 2013: A group of volunteers (Most of them are Friends of HRD 2003 Batch) organized a cleanliness camp at Ema Market and its surroundings today with the help of Imphal Municipal Council. The group expressed its view that cleanliness in and around Ema Market is the responsibility of every citizen. Notably, the group is neither a registered body nor a fund driver nor does it have any linkage to any organization but it came forward voluntarily to give a message that whoever wishes to keep Ema Market neat and clean can contribute. The group also expressed its gratitude to the general public and the Imphal Municipal Council for extending full cooperation.
