Ibudhou Moirang Thanging Koirel Lai Haraoba will start from 21st April 2015 on the auspicious day on Tuesday and will be concluded on 31st of May . With Ibudhou and Ibendhou celebration, nine umang lai and seven goddesses will also be celebrated. Moirang Thanging lai haraoba is considered as one of the greatest lai haraoba in the state, which is being celebrated by people from every corner of the state.
This great festival has been celebrating with great gusto since time immemorial with the advent ofsummer. It is the time where people from every corner of the state get the opportunity to the blessings of the deities for the betterment and prosperity of their lives. The festival is enjoyed by poeple belonging to different ages, from young to old. The ritual of flag hoisting will be on 11th may 2015. Mukna lamjel (wrestling and race), which is considered to be the greatest event of the festival is dated to be on 29th may 2015.
