A solidarity event titled Trans Queen Contest North East, 2013 was held at B.O.A.T Palace Compound yesterdat the 13th of December. The Event is being organised by All Manipur Nupi Maanbi Association ( AMaNA) and Solidarity & Action Against HIV in India (SAATHI) and supported by Manipur State AIDS Control Society (MSACS), and American Jewish World Service (AJWS) & Alliance India. Contestants from Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Manipur took part in the Trans Queen Contest which was colourful and creative with designers coming out with their best knit.
