Imphal, September 19: As a part of the initiative of state’s Consumer Affairs food and public distribution department to avail the people with Rice at subsidised price, mobile sale of rice was held at Kongba bazar, Meetei Mayek high school kongba, Naoremthong, Mantripukhri, Samumakhong and Hatta Golapati today.
10 kgs each of rice were sold to each person at lower rate of Rs.10 per kg during the mobile sale. The mobile sale witnessed a lengthy queue of Hundreds of men and women to collect the subsidised rice.
