June 25, 2016: Unseeded Maisnam Meiraba Luwang becomes runner-up in Under 17 boys single event at TOSS All India Junior Ranking Badminton Tournament under Badminton Association of India/Kerala Badminton Association held in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from 20th to 25th June 2016.
In final match, Meiraba lost the match is games set (points: 22/24:21/17:16/21, played against top seeded Kartikey Gulshan Kumar of AIR. Earlier, Meiraba defeated second seeded player Jagadesh K of AP in semi-final match (points: 18/21, 21/17, 21/12)
