Josh Tickell’s award winning documentary Fuel will be screened on February 22 (Saturday, 5 pm) at “Films for Change” – a community film screenings project inaugurated at Manipur.
Fuel’s Director Josh Tickell takes us along for his journey around the world to find solutions to America’s addiction to oil. Fuel shows us the way out of the mess we’re in by explaining how to replace every drop of oil we now use, while creating green jobs and keeping our money here at home. The film never dwells on the negative, but instead shows us the easy solutions already within our reach.
The screening is part of a Community Film Screenings project by People’s Hope, Assam Times and Television Trust for the Environment (tve). The project would focus on environmental awareness activities to bridge the information gaps and localize the contexts of environment protection & climate change action. To sensitize and prepare for local action, the project would primarily target the youth in the Northeast.
All film lovers are welcome to the screening. For details, please call9089839348 or 8414996408.
