Imphal. October, 12: Two days awareness cum training programme with theory and practical on handling of LPG gas cylinders for public safety was held at Hotel Tampha today here.
The training programme was organised by All Gas care (AGC), Manipur exclusively for the staffs of Liyai Gas Agency, Senapati and Willong Gas Agency, Ukhrul.
Speaking to the gathering as resource person, Sh. Joyprakash, Manager, All Gas care Manipur said that LPG gas cylinder has been a common domestic item widely used in every household for cooking purposes. This domestic item need to be used with care handling, otherwise it would cause heavy casualties to human life taking the role of a bomb. Every family using LPG should always remind that they have a bomb in the house. However, care handling and checking of the LPG materials from time to time will save human life from destruction. LPG consumers require to be aware of the guidelines on how to use LPG for safety.
Manager Sh. Joyprakash gave his lengthy lecture with a demonstration. The program will conclude tomorrow.
