Shija Eye Care Foundation in association with Ward Development Committee – Ward 12 jointly
organized a comprehensive eye camp at Mayang Imphal Girl High School on 27th November,
2015.
82 nos. of patients were examined for eye related problems. 18 cataracts and 12 pterygiums
were diagnosed during the camp. The surgeries for the detected patients at the camp will be
sponsored by SEVA Foundation and Focusing Philanthropy.
Dr. Sachindra Laishram, Consultant Ophthalmologist along with other supporting staff of Shija
Eye Care Foundation examined the patient.
14 cataract and 6 pterygium patients were transported to Shija Eye Care Foundation, Langol
for the corrective surgery on the same day.
