In 1990-91, a small shoe industry, ‘Mukta Shoes Industry’ became popular and was registered in DIC, Thoubal under wool and knitting embroidery section. Since then it neven looked back.
Mukta Shoes Industry presently employs 12 woman artisans. It participated continuously at state and National level exhibitions including Manipur Sangai Festival and International Trade Fair, New Delhi
