CHIEF MINISTER GREETS PEOPLE ON RAMADAN/RAMZAN

Imphal, May 27, 2017: Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh has greeted the people of the State, especially the Muslim brothers and sisters on the auspicious occasion of Ramadan/Ramzan.

In his message, the Chief Minister said, “I extend my warm greetings to the people of Manipur, especially our Muslim brothers and sisters, on the occasion of holy month of Ramzan/Ramadan”.

The sacred month brings about community togetherness and kindles the passion of giving. When fasting during this month one develops the true spirit of social belonging, unity, brotherhood and equality.

Shri N. Biren said, “Let us imbibe Prophet Mohammed’s teachings of promoting peace and enduring happiness of humanity. I wish this holy month of Ramzan lessens all our burdens and lights up the darkness.” (DIPR)
