Imphal, August 18, 2017 (DIPR): In the aftermath of experiencing severe flash floods on multiple occasions in the State recently, different organisations have been donating to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to help the flood victims.
Today as well, The Bank of Baroda donated Rs. 3,00,000 and Nurses Association, JNIMS donated Rs.1,00,000 to the CMRF. In a simple ceremony held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the amounts were handed over to Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh. The officials of the Bank of Baroda were led by the Assistant General Manager, Bank of Baroda, Guwahati Shri Sonam T. Bhutia.
Chief Minister thanked the Bank of Baroda and Nurses Association, JNIMS for their kind gesture and expressed that CMRF would receive more donations from different quarters to help the flood victims of the State. (DIPR)
