Imphal, 24th May 2017 (DIPR): Education Minister Shri Th. Radheshyam launched the ‘Humari Beti, Humari Shaan’ admission scheme in Manipur along with Prof. Ibohal Meitei. 100% fee waiver is offered to the first 100 girl students, from all over the country, admitted under this scheme of HBHS.
The Minister claimed the scheme will be a game changer for the girl students from economically poor family who dreams to pursue technical education. He lauded the SATYA Group of Institutions for reaching out to Manipur with the scheme as they found out that there was no student from this part of the country under the scheme. It will surely benefit the girls most in making their dreams come true, he added. Many expectations and concern of the girls, the minister said, need to be addressed to fulfill their ambition to gain the technical education as well as in other fields they aimed to become.
The scheme has been launched with plans to provide/facilitate the girls’ students in the field of Technical education. The scheme also contributes in the mission of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) launched by the Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi in 2015. In the launching programme CEO, SATYA Group of Institutions, Amrik Singh, students, parents and members of NGOs were also present. (DIPR)
