Churachandpur, 22nd June 2017( DIPR): Showing its concern and commitment towards promotion of talent and education especially among the financially weaker section of the society in the state , the Government of Manipur has extended financial aid amounting Rs. 2( two) lakhs to the family of Johnson L. Khongsai, HSLC Topper , the 19th Rank of HSLC Examination, 2017, so as to enable him to continue his studies and to his family for constructing a house.
The financial assistance was handed over to Smt. Themchin Khongsai , the mother of Johnson L. Khongsai today by Shri Shyam Lai Poonia, Deputy Commissioner of Churachandpur District at his office chamber.
The DC also advised and encouraged Johnson to focus on his studies and wished him good luck for his bright future. (DIPR)
