Imphal, May 20, 2017 (DIPR): MAHUD and Town Planning MinisterShri Th. Shyamkumar today gave deadline till next week to the illegal encroachers to remove their respective belongings.
Minister Shyamkumar asked the illegal encroachers in and around the Greater Imphal areas including Khuman Lampak, DM College, Nagaram River Bank, Imphal Art College, Law College, Market areas, including Thangal Bazar, Paona Bazar, Singjamei, Thoubal and Bishnupur to remove their belongings from the illegally occupied areas.
MAHUD and Town Planning Ministeralso asked the people in the said area to possess house deeds/land deeds and asked those who do not have the house deeds/land deeds to contact their concerned Municipal offices so that they can show it during the time of inspection/drive. Giving ultimatum till next week to the encroachers, Minister Shyamkumar said that, action will be taken according to the law. (DIPR)
