MINISTER KARAM SHYAM FLAGS OFF CAR RALLY

IMPHAL, OCTOBER 16, 2017 (DIPR): Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Revenue Minister Shri Karam Shyam flagged off a car rally organised by Lamjingba Cab Service at Nagamapal, Imphal West today. Speaking before the flag off ceremony, the Minister said the taxi service started by a group of educated youths is a testimony that the youths are hard working with determination to bring a change in the society.

Encouraging the founders for the venture, Minister Karam Shyam said the taxi service will give employment as well as serve the society for the betterment. He further said that, the State Government will give assistance if possible. He said the motto of the taxi service ‘Better People for Better Society’ should be followed by each and every citizen. The 24×7 taxi service will be a boon for the customers and hopefully will change the private transport sector, he added.

Minister Karam Shyam flagged off around 30 cars from Lamjingba Finance Office, Nagamapal, RIMS Road. The rally passed through Langol, Koirengei, Porompat, Tiddim road culminating at Thoubal. The Lamjingba Cab Service Ltd. will launch the taxi service on October 18, 2017. One can book the taxi service through mobile phone using application ‘Lamjingba Cab’. (DIPR)
