MINISTER TH BISWAJIT INAUGURATES FOUNDATION TRAINING PROGRAMME OF STATE CIVIL/POLICE SERVICES

Imphal,1st August,2017 (DIPR) . A 45 days long foundation Training programme of the newly recruited state Civil/Police services officers including SDCs and EOs was inaugurated today by Administrative Reform and Training Minister Shri Thongam Biswajit at State Academy of Training, Takyelpat.

Speaking on the inaugural session of the training, Minister Shri Th Biswajit said the role of a civil services officers is very important in bringing transformation in the state. As political changes need good planning , they must be a good administrator keeping in their mind, the need of the state. Minister further state that apart from foundation training ,newly recruited officers need to impart innovative training to meet the changes in the world.

Minister also asserted that the newly recruited officers should not be reluctant in joining their respective posting place .He also told them to work efficiently for the state.

Director General of State Academy Of Traning ,Shri Oinam Nabakishore said foundation training is a necessary training for the newly recruited officers. He said the State Academy of Training is going to provide numbers of trainings with an aim of imparting necessary skills to meet necessary challenges. He also urge to all newly recruited officers to work in coordination.

Altogether 84 officers are participating in the foundation training programme .And on the inaugural session of the training programme various resource persons spoke on the topic, ‘Evolution of civil services, constitutional provisions’, constitutitional Arrangements etc.(DIPR)
