Imphal, July 21, 2107 (DIPR): Various organisations, hospitals and individuals have been generously contributing financial donations to Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to help the flood victims today.
The Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) received a total of Rs. 10.80 lakh from different organisations and institutes today. In a solemn ceremony held at Chief Minister’s Secretariat, the amounts were handed over to Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh.
Shija Hospitals and Research Institute donated Rs. 3 lakh, Manipur Chemists and Druggists Association donated Rs. 2.5 lakh, Indian Tourism Congress (NE) donated Rs. 2 lakh, Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association donated Rs. 1 lakh, Sangai Healthcare and Research Center donated Rs. 1 lakh, Manipuri Muslim Online Forum contributed Rs. 50,000, Waikhom Mani Girls College donated Rs. 50,000 and Shishu Nistha Niketan, Imphal donated Rs. 30,000.
The Chief Minister expressed gratitude to all the organisations and individuals who had contributed generous donations to CMRF. He also appealed to the public to donate generously to help rehabilitate the victims and rebuild the damaged houses. (DIPR)
