STATE DISASTER CONTROL ROOM SET-UP

Imphal, July 4, 2017 (DIPR): In a press release issued by the Principal Secretary, Relief and Disaster Management, Government of Manipur, a 24/7 State Disaster Control Room has been set-up at DMI, Babupara in view of the recent floods in the state. The Control Room can be contacted at 0385-2443441.

The Government has also deputed 4 (four) MCS Officers, Shri Soiminlian Lengen (Contact No. 8974042816), Shri Bijananda Chabungbam (Contact No. 8415940020), Shri Seminthang Lenthang (Contact No. 8415803658) and Shri Mangminlian Vaiphei (Contact No. 8132817540), to address the calls received from general public and to co-ordinate Relief and Rescue measures being undertaken by the District Administration.
