Imphal, May 2, 2017 (DIPR): Local MLA and Social Welfare and Cooperation Minister, Nemcha Kipgen along with Agriculture, Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Minister, V. Hangkhanlian today inspected the site for Henu (Ema) Market in Kangpokpi District.
The proposed site for the market is now a part of the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department, Manipur. So, a new site at Regional Cattle Breeding Farm in Kangpokpi Ward No.14 will be allotted for the Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department.
It may be mentioned that the said construction of this market was announced by Hon’ble Chief Minister N. Biren Singh during his recent visit in the district. Minister Nemcha expresses her gratitude to the BJP led government for making such developmental project in the district, a reality.
During the visit, both the Ministers were also felicitated by Sadar Hills Autonomous District Council, Kangpokpi.
