Imphal, June 15, 2017 (DIPR): Chief Minister Shri N. Biren Singh launched Redmine App in order to facilitate mobile phone SMS correspondence to the people whose grievances have been recorded at Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Meeyamgi Numit and (People’s Day) and Hill People’s Day.
Chief Minister’s Secretariat will communicate through SMS by using this App to the persons concerned on the action taken status/progress of their complaints, registered on these two days.
Shri N. Biren said that he received 115 complaints/representatives on the last Meeyamgi Numit held on May 15.
He further disclosed that out of these 115 complaints, 15 cases had been solved and 25 cases closed while necessary official communications are underway for the remaining 65 cases.
Stating that people need not come again to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat to enquire about the action taken status/progress of their complaints, the Chief Minister said that it would be sent to their mobile numbers through the newly launched App.
Maintaining that people’s woes are so numerous, Shri N. Biren contended that the Government would do whatever possible to resolve all these problems. (DIPR)
