NEED OF THE HOUR IS TO FORM UNITY AMONG US: TH BISWAJIT

Imphal, April 22, 2017, DIPR: Information & Public Relations minister Shri Thongom Biswajit has stated that without unity we will not  be able to bring development in the state. He further stated that development lapse in the hills led to conflicts in the state. He said the present government is a firm government which was formed with like minded people with same motto and stressed that the need of the hour is to form unity among us. He was speaking on the occasion of meritorious award distribution cum prize distribution of 31^ST annual Yaoshang Sports Meet 2017 of Thongju Chingonglei Makhong Development Club (TCMDC) which was held at Thongju Chingonglei Makhong Development Club (TCMDC),Thongju Part 2,Pechu Lampark. 

Shri Thongom Biswajit also that there are various central schemes which people are not aware of it . And club should play a big role in giving awareness about certain schemes to the masses .He also stated that he will start repairing roads in Thongju Assembly constituency very soon and also appeal to the members of the Thongju Chingonglei Makhong Development Club(TCMDC) to work in synchronize  in order to  bring more development in the society.

12 students who scored above 70 % in class X and XII Examination were also feted with citation and gifts in the ceremony. Best mother of the year 2017 was also awarded to Smt Phamdom Sundari devi of Thongju Part 2 for continuous effort in upbringing   and nurturing of her three children despite of being a widow. At the function, winners different events of the 31^stAnnual Yaoshang Sports Meet were also feted.

Minister Karam Shyam , who was also present in the function stated that leader without sacrificing spirit will not bring development in the state, since the role of the Club is very important in society ,they should work with sincererity and sacrificing spirit.
