Music Society Manipur is presenting ‘Florozone Lotion Nongin Music Fest 13’, an upbeat music festival at Y.A.C. Ground, Yaiskul on 16th Nov 2013.
The music festival reckoning the spirit of Nongin (The State Bird of Manipur), is conceived and initiated by ‘Manipur Music Society’ with an aim of spreading awareness to the endangered State bird ‘Nongin’. The music fest believes in promoting spirit of love and peace.
Alobo Naga and the Band, Winner of 2012 Best Indian Act at MTV Europe Music Awards will headline ‘Florozone Lotion Nongin Music Fest 13’.
This festival will also witness the old wine in new bottle, with the newly formed band from Manipur called The Legends. Re-uniting legendary musicians of yesteryears like Elangbam Nutan , Chongtham Vivek, Laishram Momo, B.K., Rk.Lukhoi, Laishram Sando The LEGEND had appeared in few reputed musical concerts to people’s expectation.
Fringes, the only Blues band in Manipur who have been thriving for blues music in the area will also be performing according to a press release from the Music Society Manipur.
Music Society Manipur will also audition for the opening band of the Fest on 12 October, 2013. Interested Bands can get details from the office of Manipur Music Society, Yaiskul Police Lane (Near M.D.U.Hall) says the press release.
The Festival is initiated by Hero’s Foundation Manipur, jointly ventured by Music Society Manipur and Oriental Pumpkin Events & Communication
