Imphal, June 1, 2017 (DIPR): Works Minister Shri Thongam Biswajit inspected flooded paddy fields on the western side of the Mayai Lambi in Mayang Imphal Assembly Constituency, this evening. The Minister, who was returning from a series of inspections at Moreh, was accompanied by local MLA K Robindro during the inspection of the flooded area.
Heavy machineries, including a JCB, were used to open culverts to drain the flood waters. Torrential rains since the past few days have left many places flooded in the State. (DIPR)
