Imphal, July 28, 2017 (DIPR): As per a letter from the Government of Manipur, Secretariat, Home Department dated July 25, 2017, applications are invited from willing and eligible persons or institutions for “Swami Rama Humanitarian Award” for the year 2017.
Swami Rama Humanitarian Award is instituted by the Himalaya Institute of Hospital Trust in memory of its founder, H.H. Dr. Swami Rama for outstanding contributions to the economic, environment, scientific, social and spiritual developmetn of humanity.
The Award carries a citation, a plaque and an amount of Rs. 5 lakh. The jury is headed by Hon’ble Shri M.N. Venkatachaliah, former Chief Justice of India.
Willing candidates can obtain the details and submit their applications along with the necessary documents to the concerned Deputy Commissioners by August 5, 2017. (DIPR)
